2D DESIGN COMPETITION INFO
FORMAT
Competition consists of two 15-minute rounds and 8 total competitors.
Prelim Round is split into two heats, four competitors each. Based on judges’ scores for this round, the top two in each heat will advance.
Final Round features the top four competitors. Based on judges’ scores for this round, one Grand Prize winner will be named. He/she will advance to the Global Championship in NYC on June 20 to compete against the 15 other city champions from this year’s tour.
RULES
All work must be created from scratch; no premade assets.
Final design must be a static digital 2D image; no 3D or motion elements.
Digital images must be captured onsite for qualified use in competition. Image capture is limited to everyday objects, people, and artwork created during the course of competition. Any objects or art materials brought in by a competitor is fair game for other competitors to use.

His creative activity begins in Fukuoka, Kyushu in 2000 with a club event called MAG and regular live painting shows. In 2003, he takes charge of artwork design for FLC skating team in Fukuoka, creates DVDs, clothing etc. Later the same year he enters "DESIGNING exhibition" sponsored by Fukuoka City and his artwork is one few selected. He relocated to Tokyo in 2004, participates in "Sakuragicho on the wall" in January, 2007, and continues to do wall painting.

Born in 1977, Andrea is the son of Renzo Rosso, a descendant of the Diesel empire, so it comes as no surprise that he was instinctively drawn to the fashion business since an early age. He studied pattern cutting in Padova, but it was while studying English in California that he discovered a love for non-conformist sports like skate, surf and snowboarding. He went on to New York to study Textile Development and Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and ultimately, began conceiving 55DSL. Since 2001, Andrea has led as Creative Director of 55DSL, which has built the company into a successful multinational business and a cradle for free thinkers and artists from all around the world.

Prior to joining Anomaly, Kevin Lyons served as Creative Director for Urban Outfitters where in his seven-year tenure he helped shape the brand holistically and led the acclaimed music program. Before that, he served in a variety of diverse roles including, Design Director at Stussy Worldwide; Art Director for filmmaker Spike Jonze's Girl Skateboard Company; US Art Director for TOKION Magazine and Senior Designer for Nike Inc., where he was responsible for branding several big-time college and pro sports franchises. In 2001, Lyons was named to "The Top Forty Designers Under Thirty" by ID Magazine.
